This kimono was made in hand-woven Kasuri ikat cotton.

"Kasuri Ikat," is a traditional Japanese textile dyeing technique that results in a distinctive pattern characterized by blurred or feathered edges. The term "kasuri" can refer to both the technique and the finished textile. Kasuri involves resist dyeing, where parts of the yarn are tightly bound before dyeing to create a pattern. The bound areas resist the dye, creating the characteristic blurred or mottled design.

It was used for daily wear and had holes.
