This is a patchworked white cotton textile. Japanese sarasa textile was used in some parts.

Production of Japanese sarasa (calico) began in the Edo period when skillful Japanese dye workers found a method to inspire the designs of Indian calicos.

4 pieces of weaving length are carefully sewn together by hand stitching. Some places were repaired by hand Sashiko stitching in old-times.

Material: cotton 100%

Measures: 129cm×125cm (50in × 49in)
