This beautiful kimono textile was made in the early 20th century in japan.

It used to use as underwear which wearing inside of kimono. It has a thin layer of cotton padding inside.

The body area is made of hand-woven fabric with indigo-dyed threads. The collar is made of stencil-dyed silk fabric called Katazome.

It is a very delicate material and has torn in some places, so please use it for display purposes only. An excellent collector's piece.
