This beautiful kimono textile was made in the early 20th century in japan.

 

It used to use as underwear called Jyu-ban which is worn inside of kimono and many parts of this kimono are made of silk dyed with safflower. 

 

It is all hand sewing with sashiko stitching. It has a  cotton padding inside.

 

The textile has some holes.

 

A nice collector's piece.
