A silk katazome fragment dyed in soft shades of pink, featuring an asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern along the edge. Created using the traditional Japanese katazome technique, the design was produced by applying resist paste through hand-cut paper stencils before dyeing.

The delicate silk has a smooth hand and a gentle sheen, while small patches and repairs reveal signs of careful use and maintenance. The contrast between the vibrant geometric pattern and the softly faded pink ground adds character to this charming fragment.
