Japanese vintage sashiko stitched ramie fragment
This is a hand-weaved ramie non-dyed fragment,  Perhaps it was used as a Kimono in old times.
 
This textile has a beautiful faded rustic texture. Since the ramie fibers are extracted by hand spinning, some of the outer bark is mixed in, giving it a rough texture. You can also see the texture of hand weaving.
