Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth that is used for carrying and wrapping various items.

The word "furoshiki" can be broken down into "furo" (bath) and "shiki" (to spread), indicating its historical use in wrapping and carrying clothes to and from public baths in Japan.  However, its versatility has made it a popular choice for wrapping gifts, carrying groceries, and creating stylish bags.

This one has a few holes and damages, repaired with beautiful Sashiko stitching, also reinforced edges of textile.

Made from hand weaved plaid 4 length.
