Japanese vintage patched under kimono

This beautiful kimono textile was made in the early 20th century in Japan. It used to use as underwear which is worn inside a kimono.
 
This one was made of mainly silk textiles, the sleeves were indigo-dyed cotton, and the bottom textiles were made from cotton flannel.
 
In Japan, kimonos that had been worn and liked by previous generations were reused and re-tailored into kimonos.
 
These colorful kimonos were also worn by those of high status or those who supported those of high status.
 
It's a nice collector's item, but there are a few places where it's torn. So please use it more for display.
