A large paper  assembled from numerous pieces of handmade paper bearing handwritten records, notes, and documents.
 
The individual sheets were carefully joined together to create a single large surface, preserving traces of everyday life through layers of ink, handwriting, and repairs.
 
The paper has developed a warm patina through age, while the overlapping documents create a rich visual texture. When illuminated from behind, the varying densities of the paper and ink become visible, revealing the construction of the piece and the history embedded within it.
 
Suitable as a wall hanging, room divider, or decorative textile. A unique example of Japanese resourcefulness, where written documents were repurposed and given a second life.
