Layered indigo and soft pigments have mellowed over time through use.
Patches and mending are visible throughout, showing careful, continued repair in daily life.
 
The cotton cloth has a moderate weight with remaining suppleness.
Originally made as a practical textile to wrap futon bedding.
Today it can also be used as a wall hanging or interior cloth.
