This textile is a very old indigo-dyed fragment. It has been used for various purposes, such as clothing and bedding while being repaired over and over again.
Several small fabrics were stitched together with Sashiko stitching. It has been used and washed for a long time, so it has a soft texture and a beautiful faded color.
This one is mainly made of textile dyed with chrysanthemum flowers using a technique called katazome.
