Vintage Japanese cotton fabric fragment made from Japanese old cloth.
A fragment of Japanese cotton cloth with a fine checked weave. Repaired and reinforced through repeated use, the surface carries small tears, hand stitching, frayed areas, and irregular fading accumulated over time.
The cotton has softened through long use, and the texture is remarkably soft. Traces of mending and wear remain across the cloth, showing signs of everyday use rather than preservation.
