This is a cotton kimono jyuban dyed with safflower. A Jyuban is the underwear of a kimono, and this one is made of mainly hand-woven cotton, sleeves were made of reconstructed silk Kimono.

 

In the period when these kimonos were worn, only people of high rank were allowed to wear brightly colored kimonos, and peasants were strongly forbidden to wear brightly colored kimonos.

 

It is in very good condition, so it is perfect for wearing or displaying.
