Wasarasa (和更紗) is a Japanese textile style influenced by sarasa, a type of colorful, intricately patterned fabric that originated in India and was introduced to Japan through trade. The word "wa" (和) means "Japanese," while "sarasa" refers to the imported textile style.

Wasarasa combines traditional Japanese aesthetics with Indian-inspired motifs, often featuring floral patterns, birds, or geometric designs. The designs are usually created using stencil dyeing and hand-painting techniques, and the fabrics are popular in kimono sashes (obi) and other traditional garments, as well as in decorative items.
