Furoshiki is a type of textile used since ancient times to carry things by tying the four sides together.

This one dyed flowers and a family crest by Tsutsugaki dyeing. Tsutsugaki is a traditional Japanese textile dyeing technique that involves drawing designs by bamboo tubes on fabric with a rice paste resist before dyeing it.

Some holes were repaired with Sashiko stitching in old times.
