This is a Boro rug made over 100 years ago. It was found in the northern west, Japan.

It has about 4 or 5 layers of indigo-dyed cotton fragments of all kinds sewn on top of each other. Everything is embroidered by hand, and the texture of the cotton threads is very beautiful.

This rug made of some Sakiori leftover weaving fabric, patched and mended with a lot of small fragments.

It is thick and just right for use as a rug. It has been washed many times so it has a soft texture.

Material: Cotton 100%

Mesures: 124cm×126cm (48in × 49in)
