This is an indigo-dyed soft and thick indigo rug.
The front side was made from mailly plain indigo textiles and left-over fabric, the back side was made of plaid check hand-weaved ikat textiles. These textile is made of multiple layers of a lot of fabric with sashiko stitching all over it.
All hand sewing and many holes are repaired by sashiko stitching with a lot of beautiful indigo textiles.
They repeated washing and mending become very soft.
You can use a rug or hang it as textile art.
