This is an indigo-dyed soft and thick indigo rug. It was probably made and used more than 100 years ago.
The both sides were made from mailly plain indigo textile and ikat weaved textiles. These textile is made of multiple layers of indigo-dyed fabric with sashiko stitching all over it.
All hand sewing and many holes are repaired by sashiko stitching with a lot of beautiful indigo textiles.
They repeated washing and mending become very soft.
You can use a rug or hang it as textile art.
