This layered 4 panels indigo katazome(stencil) dyed rug used to kotatsu-shiki which under the heated table in early 20th century. 


The edge of textiles were reinforced by sashiko stitching.


All hand sewing and many holes are  repaired by sashiko stitching with lot of beautiful indigo textiles.


They repeated washing and mending become very soft.

You can use rug or hang as textile art.
