This beautiful kimono textile was made in the mid-20th century in Japan.

This vest was made by reusing many silk kimonos called Chirimen. Chirimen means crepe silk hand-weaved textiles.

The lining was made of faded blue indigo-dyed ramie textiles.

It was made by hand sewing with sashiko stitching. It has a mixture of cotton padding inside.
