This beautiful kimono textile was made in the mid 20th century in japan.
These vests are made by reusing many silk kimonos of a type called Chirimen. Chirimen means crepe textiles.
The linning made of faded blue indigo-dyed ramie textiles.
It all hand sewing with sashiko stitching. It has a mixture of cotton padding.
