This is a work glove that was used by farmers and other common households. Each family made them in old Japan.
The gloves are made by reconstructing fabrics originally used for clothing such as kimonos. They are thickly finished in many layers using hand sewing and sewing machines.
There is some damage, but they are in stunning condition.
