This is Japanese sakiori rug used to use for kimonos belt in north area Japan.

 

Sakiori is a traditional techniques or woven fabric that is produced from scrap fabric (worn out cloth and garments torn thinly)  and then woven tightly into clothing and other products for daily use.

 

Sakiori is typically woven with warps of cotton and wefts of thin worn out cloth. These fabrics are durable and warm, turning softer in texture with use.

 

In good condition The stain and damage and the discoloration used for a long time are very cool.
