Vintage Japanese indigo-dyed ramie Katazome length
This is a Katazome indigo-dyed ramie length.  The faded colors are very beautiful. This one printed chrysanthemum and Temari ball patterns.
 
Katazome is a Japanese technique of stencil-resist dyeing that involves drawing rice-paste designs on cloth, dyeing the fabric, and then washing off the paste.
 
Some places were repaired with Sashiko stitching with indigo patches.
