This is made of heavy indigo dyed cotton. It is very strong and thick. It is sashiko stitched, machine sewing only.

The stitching gives the jacket a great deal of strength and protection. Moderate used, washed many time, faded. Not fragile. But this one worn out the back of neck. please check photo.
