Maekake is a traditional style of Japanese apron, tied at the hips and worn by farmers, craftsmen, and the staff of certain shops.
All hand sewing and holes are repaired by sashiko stitching. It became very soft that repeated washing and mending much time.
The waist code was made of reconstructed cotton.
Perhaps it was made in the mid 20th century and use for late 20th century in Japan.
