This one was patched Katazome stencil-dyed textiles and Japanese ikat textiles called Kasuri textiles.
Katazome is a Japanese method of indigo dyeing fabrics using a resist paste applied through a stencil, typically a rice flour mixture applied with a brush or a tool such as a palette knife.
Four lengths were sewn together by hand Sashiko stitching, some holes were also repaired with hand Sashiko stitching.
