This beautiful boro textiles were made in early 20 century in japan. It used to use as under kimono wear. 


The sleeves are made from Chu-gata zome dyed textiles.

Chugata means midium size, that used to printed by midium size stencil papers in old time.


This jacket printed Kacho-mon, It is a pattern that combines flowers and birds. Means good luck.

It all hand sewing with sashiko stitching.  A nice collectors piece.
