This is an indigo-dyed cotton Zanshi-ori fragment.

Zanshi means “leftover thread” in Japanese, and each is a thread left over after being used to weave a kimono.

Since the textile is woven with these leftover threads, it has an accidental pattern and is beautiful.

The stain, damage, and discoloration used for a long time are very cool.

Measures: 89cm(35") × 34cm(13")
