This beautiful kimono jacket was made in the early 20 century in japan.
It is made of hand weaved ramie textiles and all hand sewing with sashiko stitching.
The black and red parts of the pattern are probably drawn afterwards, while the other parts are woven from pre-dyed threads to look like a picture. This technique is called "Kasuri".
Some holes are repaired with sashiko stitching.
Excellent condition, nice collector's piece.
