This beautiful kimono jacket was made in the early 20 century in japan.

It is made of hand weaved cotton textiles and all hand sewing with sashiko stitching.

Textiles were dyed with Itajime technics. Itajime-shibori is a shaped-resist dyeing that consists of folding a piece of cloth, clamping it between two wooden boards and applying the dye.

Some holes are repaired with sashiko stitching.

Excellent condition, nice collector's piece.
