This kimono was a patchwork of various tenugui cotton fabrics joined together.
The two big kanji “印刷” means printing. I think it is a remake of something that was used as an advertisement for a printing company in the past.
Tenugui is a traditional Japanese cloth used for a variety of purposes, such as a towel, hachimaki, decoration, or gift wrapping.
Tenugui is generally rectangular, 35-40 cm wide and 90-100 cm long, and made of cotton. They were widely distributed as sales promotions for companies.
Sewed these together by hand Sashiko stitching in old times.
