These repeatedly pasted paper fragments were found inside of traditional Japanese sliding doors.
Fusuma was used to repeatedly affix leftover paper fragments to the inside, where they could not be seen, and these papers were used as insulation.
Various paper types are recycled and used, so it has an artistic and beautiful element. It is also recommended to hang it in the sun to create an exquisite gradation.
