This is the textile reconstructed of a worn-out Itajime-shibori yukata cotton kimono.
 
Itajime-shibori is a traditional dyeing technique in which folded fabric is sandwiched between two wooden boards and then dyed. 
 
A yukata is a traditional Japanese garment worn by men and women, typically during summer or spring. 
 
This one has a few holes and damage, repaired with beautiful sashiko stitching.
