Hand-sewn noren, likely from the Taishō to early Shōwa period, dyed in indigo with striking white resist patterns.

The upper section carries flowing water motifs, while the lower panels show repeating floral designs, possibly iris, stenciled onto hand-dyed cotton.

Originally hung at the entrance of a shop or home, serving both a practical and decorative role, this piece now reveals the refined artistry of Japanese textiles. It works beautifully today as a wall hanging or interior divider.

※Bamboo sticks are not included.
