This is a piece of Japanese vintage indigo-dyed cotton cloth, made by hand from old handwoven fabrics. It is entirely hand-stitched, showing visible seams, small frays, and signs of wear that speak to its long use.

The indigo tone is calm and slightly uneven, revealing natural variations from repeated dyeing and washing. The fabric is strong yet supple, with a quiet texture typical of old cotton.

There is no decorative intent—this cloth was made for daily use, shaped by practical life and repair. The traces of work and time remain clearly on its surface, giving it a straightforward and honest character.

It can be displayed as a wall textile or used as a noren curtain, where its texture and seams add quiet depth to the space.

※Bamboo rods not included.
