This antique textile features a katazome (stencil resist-dyed) pattern of floral motifs arranged within hexagonal frames.

The design, known as kikkō-kamon in Japan, combines geometric harmony with the softness of flowers, symbolizing stability and continuity.

Hand-dyed in natural indigo on cotton, the fabric has aged into calm shades of blue and gray, showing subtle fading and the quiet beauty of timeworn cloth. Once part of a kimono or futon cover, it reflects the refined simplicity and strength of Japanese handcraft.

Perfect for wall display, framed textile, or interior decoration.
