Japanese vintage indigo dyed katazome cotton textile.

Katazome is a resist dyeing technique using paper stencils and rice paste before dyeing.

This piece features fine vertical stripes with small geometric motifs scattered across the surface. The simple repeated pattern and soft faded indigo create a quiet rhythm within the cloth. Slight irregularities and traces of handwork remain visible throughout.

The fabric shows wear and softness formed through everyday use over time.

Suitable for wall display, framing, or interior use.
