This is an old Japanese cotton fragment. The several textiles were indigo-dyed and the faded colors are so beautiful.
This one made of very old hand-woven cotton length. They were used repeatedly as kimonos, futons, etc., and have many damages and repairs by Sashiko stitching.
There are many damages and repairs. It is very beautiful with mainly hand-woven striped indigo-dyed fabrics.
