This is a kimono Jyuban dyed with safflower. A Jyuban is the underwear of a kimono, and this one is made of hand-woven cotton.
In the period when these kimonos were worn, only people of high rank were allowed to wear brightly colored kimonos, and peasants were strongly forbidden to wear brightly colored kimonos.
It is in very good condition, so it is perfect for wearing or displaying.
